It's Hard Work Being This Cute

Normally Eliza loves her bath but she was having an off day.
But even her feet turn out so cute.
(Thanks Aunt Heather & Uncle Jer for the pretty shoes.)
Mommy calls these my sherbet jammies.

Kids Grow So Fast!

Madilyn started dance class again today,  isn't she such a cutie?!  She's taking ballet, tap and jazz.  She loves it.

She started kindergarten three weeks ago in Ms. Quarles' (sounds like "corals" not "kwar-lez" like my southern Califorian upbringing led me to believe) class.  She is already sounding out short words and gets so excited.  She is our social butterfly and has made new friends.  Mommy, Andrew, and Eliza even ate lunch with her and her new friends yesterday when we brought her lunch to her.  (Mommy ran out of time that morning.)

Andrew started preschool this week in Ms. Angela and Ms. Melissa's class at Jenks First Baptist Church.

Andrew loves his trains, cars, finding bugs and playing in water at the sink.  The other day he spent a half hour on a chair at my kitchen sink just enjoying the water and the soap bubbles.  So much so, that his ice cream dessert didn't even pull him away from his fun.  We love that he entertains himself so well.

Here's is our sweet Eliza.  She will be eight weeks old tomorrow!  How does time go by so fast?  She is finding her routine and in the process becoming a happier baby.  For awhile I thought we were going to be dealing with colic.  But as you can tell she's our happy girl.

Her favorite place to be is on her changing pad looking into the mirror or at the musical monkeys that we have hanging from the mirror.  The swing is now tainted since she realizes it means sleep.  But this has lead to her learning to sooth herself and falling asleep in her bed.  Isn't she pretty in pink?!

Sac Town Gang Comes To Oklahoma

Mamu, Pops, Jer, and Heather came to visit us this August and we all had a blast!   We ate out a ton.  We played at the mall.  Jer and Heather introduced Tim and I  to Chinamon massages.  We introduced them to frozen custard-delicious!
Jer beat Tim at golf despite the smack talk I'm sure was going on.

Heather and Madi made yummy cookies.

Pops painted Wall-E in Andrew's room.

Jer and Heather were able to escape to OKC.

Between the six adults, one of us was able to get Eliza to sleep at night despite her newborn fussies.   We love you guys!

The Story Behind "Oh yeah pancy faster!"

This is an Andrew-ism.  It is his version of "fancy pants."  I don't even remember how he came up with it but we love it and he has us all laughing!
